Questions

Rates and trip FAQ

What is included in the price?

The boat, the captain, fuel (nearshore included), fishing license, rods, reels, tackle and ice for your catch. Bait is not included. You bring drinks, snacks, sunscreen and a hat.

How many people can come?

Up to 4 anglers. The price covers 1 or 2 people; each extra angler is $75. Non-fishing passengers count toward the 4.

What is the "No fish, no pay" guarantee?

On full-day trips, if you do not catch a single fish, you do not pay for the trip. In 25 years it has been a very cheap promise to make.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel at least 48 hours before the trip and your deposit carries over to a new date. Cancellations inside 48 hours or no-shows forfeit $100. If Capt. Fred cancels for weather, you reschedule or get your deposit back.

What time do trips start?

Usually at first light, when the bite is best and the water is calm: around 6:30 to 7:30 am depending on the season. Later starts are possible, just ask.

Do you offer night fishing?

On request, mostly in summer for tarpon and snook. Text Capt. Fred with your dates and he will tell you if it makes sense.
